Milton’s new home

Some folks hear the words, ‘senior’ and cringe, immediately dismissing the idea of adopting of a dog older than a year or two. Senior dogs have numerous advantages over puppies – not to say they are not without challenges. Personally, I have great respect for those willing to open their homes to older dogs. Making the commitment to care for these dogs for the rest of their days is admirable and honorable.
Milton, nine-years old, is a textbook case. Living with his one ‘dad’ for most of his life, his world one day changed and he had a tough time adapting. His owners trusted us with this sweet guy and to that we are grateful.
We celebrate the beginning of Milton with his new family: Mark and Mary from Massachusetts. Yes, the alternation isn’t lost on us: Mark, Mary, Milton, Massachusetts. These folks are fully committed to giving Milton their time and attention for the rest of his life. With prior bulldog experience, education and hearts full of love, these folks welcomed Milton into their home last night, where he slept soundly on new bed snoring during his peaceful dreams.
A great new start for a wonderful senior dog. We love you, Milton.
