Maxwell was left behind by his owners in a trailer park in Texas before being rescued. He is a very sweet boy. He has been great with all dogs he has met. We do not know Maxwell’s history with young children. He does like to jump when he gets excited, so he would be best with an owner that has good boundaries and interested in continuing with training, as he is still a young boy, eager to learn. He loves the water! Maxwell has enjoyed cats, but is a bit rough. He would do best in an active family with another dog for a playmate, and no young children.
