Meet Janie
Janie; This poor girl can not get a break. She was taken from a high kill shelter in GA by some volunteers who could not stand to see her die just for space. Janie was a baby. VEBR was contacted about her and accepted her into our rescue thinking that she would be adopted quickly. Instead Janie sat for nearly a year.
In January of 2017, Janie was adopted by a couple in Vermont. She was great with all people and with the resident dog. All reports were glowing. Unfortunately her owner died suddenly this past Thanksgiving. Janie was taken to the local shelter who contacted us as our contract states that dogs must return to us. The shelter loved her! And so, Janie is back with us.
This is a girl who is house trained, loves walks, is great with all people. She is sweet, athletic and affectionate. Janie can pull when walking but settles after a bit. She loves hiking and walks. She does not deserve all the changes that she has endured. Yet she is just as loving as always. Janie just turned 2 years old and is in great health. She is spayed and current on all medical.Janie needs her forever forever home before this year is out.
